This is a true but unknown story of a poor farmer Gopal More from a small village in Nashik. When his taluka faced a drought, he thought about how to overcome water shortage for once and for all. It struck him that if a dam was built in that area they could overcome water shortage. This idea possessed him and he started working towards this goal paying no heed to elders who discouraged him. From visiting several villages, getting people to agree to the need for the dam, getting their signatures and thumb impressions, explaining this idea to government officials and people's representatives, to undergoing a fast in front of the Prime Minister's residence, he did everything that he could think of and whatever he thought would work. This is the story of his struggle.
