This is the story of Eknath Avhad. It was expected that he would follow his father's profession and continue to live a life of misery and poverty. But that was not what Eknath Avhad had in mind. He left his village and home and underwent many hurdles to study further and create a new path for himself. However, he didn't stop there. He worked hard to free the Dalits and Adivasis from being the daily wage labourers that they were. He also took up the cause of untouchables and caste disparity across many villages. He helped thousands of landless labourers get lands from the government. He also taught them organic farming. He taught them to save and setup small businesses of their own. He fought against rampant injustice to create a new changed world.
